Assisted Living

Assisted living is an option for seniors who may need assistance, but are not in need of a nursing home.  Family House is an assisted living community offering independent living areas and services that include assistance with bathing, dressing, medication, meals, and laundry.  Family House has six individual dwellings, and one common rear patio deck area that connects all the homes. 

Dining:

The qualified dietary staff plans and prepares all meals in the kitchen of Family House. All meals are prepared to meet the dietary specifications / restrictions of each resident

Recreation:

Residents are encouraged to continue leading an active life.  Activities offered include: physical exercise, memory stimulation, pursuit of old hobbies, and the development of new hobbies.  Other resident social activities include religious services, family gatherings, and birthday celebrations.

Nursing & Medical Care:

In addition to 24-hour care by highly qualified, certified Nursing Assistants, Family House has an exceptional medical staff with 1 Licensed Practical Nurse, 2 Registered Nurses, and 6 Medical Assistants that administer all medication and help to keep our residents as healthy as possible.
