Faith Haven Overview
The "Faith
Haven" facility is proposed to be located at the intersection of 8th
Street and Burleigh Street. The facility will have two
divisions. One division's prime focus will be to provide a
safe atmosphere for the elderly and youth, while the other will be
a primary medical care clinic.
The elder care portion of the
facility will provide seniors with a space for crafts, religious
activities, games, and other recreational activities during the
day.
In the afternoon, the community center will provide youth with a gymnasium, game room, multi-purpose room, warming kitchen, lobby, and offices. The youth will be able to utilize play equipment, and a picnic area located outside the building.

Community Center
Recreation programs and classes in the areas of sports, arts, fitness, dance, crafts, cooking, self-improvement, drama, games, hobbies, martial arts, music, and do-it-yourself instruction are among the activities that will be offered. The center will also host clubs, camp, special events, workshops, drop-in programs, after-school programs, and cultural activities at different times. Pre-schoolers, children, teens, adults, and senior citizens will have a variety of recreational opportunities available at the center

Medical Health Clinic
The Faith Haven Community Clinic will provide primary medical care and community health education to the community. In addition to being a primary care clinic, the new facility will host community health education and social service programs and will serve as a center for neighborhood activities and meetings. The center will provide a broad range of medical services, social services and home visits for individuals and families.
